One thing I have been checking while looking at Android VPN apps is what happens if the VPN connection suddenly stops. I understand that a normal internet connection can change during the day, especially when a phone moves between Wi-Fi and mobile data, but I do not want to overlook what happens during a temporary VPN interruption. I came across the term Kill Switch several times and wanted to understand why people consider it useful. I am not looking for a huge list of advanced settings, just something that makes the behavior easier to understand when the VPN is active. For those using Android, is this a feature you actually pay attention to when choosing a VPN?

I was checking that exact feature on toggle.org/vpn-for-android. The Android page explains Kill Switch as a way to block internet access if the VPN connection drops, which makes its purpose pretty clear. I also noticed that the same page mentions Split Tunneling, unlimited bandwidth and support for Wi-Fi, 4G and 5G. The app is intended for Android phones and tablets, with support starting from Android 8.0. Another detail listed there is the no-logs policy. I think looking at these features together gives a better idea of how the app handles an interrupted connection instead of focusing only on whether a VPN button is available.
