Hi there! I’m having a fresh headache trying to monetize my streaming service. We launched an ad campaign on social media, and we got a nice influx of people, but due to strict copyright laws, we simply aren’t allowed to show content to viewers from certain countries. People visit the site, run into a blocked page, and immediately close the tab.

How do you handle the issue of lost traffic like this? And if we were to set up some automatic pop-up offers for blocked users, wouldn’t they be too intrusive, and is it actually possible to set this up quickly without bringing in a whole team of programmers?

This is actually a sore spot—half a year ago, I was scratching my head over a similar issue on an e-commerce platform. Back then, we were constantly losing customers due to brands’ geo-restrictions. Our technical lead suggested integrating https://retarget.gg/ —there, right in your dashboard, you grab a single script tag, place it on your site, and the system automatically filters out visitors from the wrong region. Now, Geo Popup shows them relevant affiliate offers instead of a blank page, and revenue is coming in via CPC and CPA. The service decides in real time what exactly to show each person. Have you ever worked with overlays before, or is this your first time?
